shePedals Magazine Releases Digital Version
The only women's cycling magazine in the world, shePedals Magazine, now offers a digital version of its publication.
LOS ANGELES, CA, July 14, 2010 /Publishing and Books PR News/ -- ShePedals Magazine: the Journal of Women in Cycling, has released a digital version of its magazine. It is available in flip-book format online at Yudu.com (search 'shePedals').
"We did a survey of our readers a few months ago and found that 30% of our readers would be interested in a digital version; they wanted the content in an eco-conscious format," says editor Dena Eaton.
While the demand for the print magazine has increased 400% from issue 2, it is primarily sold in small booksellers and specialty bike shops. The publisher feels that moving into the digital realm would increase visibility and availability of the magazine to a broader population as well as to those outside of the United States and Canada.
In addition to the digital magazine, shePedals will also be releasing a version for the Kindle. It is expected to be available for Issue 4, due out in September.
