Capstone Names Lori Benton as New General Manager/Publisher of Fiction Imprints
Capstone, the leading publisher of children's books in the U.S. education market, has named Lori Benton General Manager/Publisher of its fiction imprints, which include Stone Arch Books and Picture Window Books.
MANKATO, MN, January 15, 2010 /Publishing and Books PR News/ -- Capstone, the leading publisher of children's books in the U.S. education market, has named Lori Benton General Manager/Publisher of its fiction imprints, which include Stone Arch Books and Picture Window Books. Benton brings more than 30 years of experience in children's book publishing and management to her new role, and will lead the strategic development and growth of the fiction product line.
Previously, Benton was Vice President and Publisher of the Children's Book Division at Harcourt Trade Publishers. Benton also worked as Director of Marketing/Associate Publisher for Henry Holt Books for Young Readers, and spent 10 years in marketing management at William Morrow & Company in the children's division.
